Super Summer Camp 2010!  

Sunnyside Day Care is licensed to run an 9 week summer camp from June 28 to August 27, 2010.

The camp will operate from 8.30 am until 5.30 pm each day. The weekly fee of $250.00 includes a hot lunch, two nutritious snacks as well as an action packed summer of exploration and fun! For maximum safety, the class size will not exceed 20 children and will have our ECE and Kindergarten staff running the program. Please see the attached Application and Terms and Conditions for more details. 

Note: Pre-camp care is available from mid June to the start of Summer Camp on June 29.

Weekly activities may include:

1.   A weekly nature scavenger hunt in High Park.

2.   Afternoon swimming at the Sorauren wading pool.

3.      An hour of Sport Play each week.

4.      Team sports events at the High Park common.

5.      Each week a different art project will be run based on a specific theme.

6.      Each month we will make a trip on the High Park train to the “Upper Park and wading pool”.

7.      In August we will make a trip to Riverdale farm, have a picnic in the park and visit the wading pool for lots of splashing and fun!

8.  Every week will have a specific theme. The children will immerse themselves in that theme for the week, experiencing fun, art, dance and the great outdoors!
