About Us

History

Sunnyside Daycare was founded in 2002 to serve the needs of children in our community. Shortly after opening, the centre quickly established itself as the “Best Daycare in the Toronto Bloor West /High Park Area,” from 2003-2005, as determined by the Toronto Community News.

Our reputation has grown over the years, just like our centres, which offer infant, toddler, and preschool classes. Sunnyside’s childcare service, with an educational focus, is provided in a large home on High Park Blvd. During the summer of 2011, we renovated this facility, and our second location at 236 Keele Street opened in January of 2014, after extensive remodeling.

We are proud members of the High Park and Roncesvalles communities and will do our best to serve the needs of your family. We encourage you to get on the waiting list as soon as possible because we want to build a relationship with your family at the earliest convenience. Please note that an accepted offer for educational childcare at Sunnyside Daycare guarantees existing and future placement in our program, a common practise among daycare centres.
